Below is a list of questions our clients often ask when booking...
How much do you charge?
In order to provide you with a quote, we first need to take some details from you. The quote is based on a number of things so please provide us with the date, timings, approximate number of guests and the location of your venue.
What kind of events do you play?
Calibre provide live music for corporate events, dinner dances, wedding receptions and other functions.
Where do you perform - how far will you travel?
We perform within and around the M25 area, although we are open to discussion if the distance is not too unreasonable.
Our venue requires public liability insurance and portable equipment testing - do you have that?
Calibre equipment is fully PAT tested and we also have public liability insurance too - be weary as many bands don’t! This is often an essential requirement at many venues.
Do you have your own PA (Sound system)?
The band supply their own PA and can provide stage lighting.
What happens between Calibre’s live sets?
We can play appropriate pre-recorded music between our live sets. If you wish to play your own selection of tracks from an iPod or mp3 player, we can do that for you too. If you have certain tracks on CD, we can transfer them to an iPod as a playlist for you, providing you send them to us well in advance.
Do you play requests?
If you have a special song in mind, please let us know. If you would like suggestions for your first dance at your Wedding, we can help there too.
What time will you arrive at the venue and how long do you need to set up your equipment?
In most cases, we can be set up in an hour although we often arrive at the venue earlier. After the function we usually also require an hour to pack up our equipment.
Where can we see you play before we book Calibre?
The majority of our gigs are private bookings, so this is not always easy to arrange. If you’d like to see us perform, please get in touch to see if we have any events coming up.
